Chicago, Illinois (NED).– From the first morning after winning the election as Mayor-Elect, Brandon Johnson began his work listening to the public and visiting places. Yesterday, Thursday, he met with Mayor Lori Lightfoot in what will be his new office at the Chicago City Hall.
Mayor Elect Johnson told the press, “Mayor Lightfoot and I had a positive, productive discussion today about the future of our city. During the meeting, I expressed my deep gratitude for her service to Chicago, and she graciously offered her full support during the mayoral transition. Based on our conversation today, I’m confident this will be a smooth transition that helps us come together as a city to deliver a better, stronger, safer Chicago.”
Se reúnen Brandon Johnson y Lori Lightfoot
Chicago, Illinois (NED).– Desde la primer mañana después de ganar la elección como Alcalde Electo, Brandon Johnson comenzó su trabajo escuchando a la ciudadanía y visitando lugares. Ayer jueves se reunió con la alcaldesa Lori Lightfoot en la que será su nueva oficina en la Alcaldía de Chicago.
El Alcalde Electo Johnson manifestó a la prensa, “La alcaldesa Lightfoot y yo tuvimos una discusión positiva y productiva hoy sobre el futuro de nuestra ciudad. Durante la reunión, expresé mi profunda gratitud por su servicio a Chicago, y gentilmente ofreció todo su apoyo durante la transición de la alcaldía. Basado en nuestra conversación hoy, confío en que esta será una transición sin problemas que nos ayudará a unirnos como ciudad para ofrecer un Chicago mejor, más fuerte y más seguro”.
