Cicero, Illinois (NED).– Se invita a los residentes de Cicero a asistir a un taller especial para conocer las oportunidades de reducir su factura de impuestos a la propiedad, e incluso recibir ayuda para presentar una apelación durante el mismo evento.
El presidente municipal de Cicero, Larry Dominick; el tasador del municipio, Emilio Cundari; y el comisionado de la Junta de Revisión del Condado de Cook, George Cárdenas, organizan este taller, que comenzará a las 6:00 p. m. el jueves 24 de septiembre en el Centro Comunitario de Cicero (Cicero Community Center), ubicado en el 2250 S. 49th Ave.
Se les recomienda a los propietarios traer su factura de impuestos a la propiedad o el aviso de tasación. En el evento, podrán hablar con analistas que determinarán si los impuestos se calcularon correctamente o si existe la posibilidad de presentar una apelación para reducir el monto a pagar. Los analistas pueden ayudar a los propietarios a presentar dicha apelación en el mismo lugar, sin costo alguno.
Property Tax Appeal Workshop
Cicero, Illinois (NED).– Cicero residents are invited to attend a special workshop to learn about opportunities to lower their property tax bill – and even help to file an appeal right at the event.
Cicero Town President Larry Dominick, Township Assessor Emilio Cundari and Cook County Board of Review Commissioner George Cardenas are hosting the workshop, which begins at 6 p.m. Thursday Sept. 24 at the Cicero Community Center, 2250 S. 49th Ave.
Homeowners are encouraged to bring their property tax bill or assessment notice. At the event, they can talk with analysts who can identify whether they were properly taxed or if there is an opportunity to file an appeal to lower their bill. Analysts can help homeowners file that appeal on the spot, at no cost.
