Chicago, Illinois (NED).– SpotzCity, the go-to place for shoppers seeking diverse owned businesses (woman, Black, LatinX, Disabled, Asian, Native American, LGBTQ, Veteran, Arabic) is hosting its Amazingly Outrageous Family Party on Sunday, May 22 from 12 to 6 p.m. at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand in Chicago. Free admission and fun for all ages, from kindergartener to grandparent, it’s a day to wear costumes, crazy hats, unique outfits, while exploring and engaging in open, safe spaces as a family.
“There’s no need to wait for Halloween or a costume party to dress up in outrageous outfits, hats, make-up, wigs and dyed hair, because we’re welcoming all of that and more,” said Latonya Forte-Lyles, partner, SpotzCity. “We want individuals to come in their favorite anime characters, or wear something very traditional that proudly displays their heritage and culture – this is an opportunity for each family to share their own story by what they wear.”
In addition to the entertainment and activities curated by SpotzCity, Navy Pier’s many attractions, food vendors, restaurants and activities will also be open, offering something for every age group.
