Washington – Our Revolution, la organización de base fundada por el senador Bernie Sanders, llevará a cabo una manifestación virtual de Get Out The Vote esta noche a las 8:30 PM CDT. Simpatizantes de todo Illinois se unirán a la candidata para la Cámara de Representantes de los Estados Unidos Marie Newman (IL-O3) y los Representantes de la Cámara de Representantes Kelly Cassidy y Will Guzzardi.
Durante la convocatoria Nuestra Revolución estará anunciando apoyos para el Congreso, elecciones estatales y locales.
Como parte de un esfuerzo a nivel nacional compuesto por una red de más de 30 grupos estatales de Our Revolution y cientos de grupos locales, el plan de cuatro puntos de Our Revolution Illinois incluye derrotar a Trump, elegir campeones progresistas para el Congreso, construir un banco de funcionarios electos en votación negativa y políticas, y el fortalecimiento del movimiento progresista haciendo campaña sobre nuestros problemas. Get Out the Vote
WASHINGTON — Our Revolution, the grassroots organization founded by Senator Bernie Sanders, will hold a virtual Get Out The Vote Rally tonight at 8:30 PM CDT. Supporters from across Illinois will join candidate for US House Marie Newman (IL-O3) and State House Reps. Kelly Cassidy and Will Guzzardi.
During the call Our Revolution will be announcing endorsements for Congress, state and local elections.
As part of a nationwide effort made up of a network of over 30 Our Revolution state groups and hundreds of local groups, Our Revolution Illinois’s four-point plan includes defeating Trump, electing progressive champions to Congress, building a bench of down-ballot elected officials and policies, and strengthening the progressive movement by campaigning on our issues. Our Revolution has educated roughly 37,000 Illinoisians by issuing voter guides on this election’s progressive, down-ballot candidates.
“We believe that change starts at the local level, that is why we are proud to be endorsing scores of candidates to energize and mobilize voters throughout Illinois,” said Joseph Geevarghese, Executive Director of Our Revolution. “Progressive voters are tired of politics as usual and want to see radical change in the White House, the State House and the halls of local government.
