Forest View, Illinois (NED).– Bianel Zárate, es el nuevo dirigente del Departamento de Policía de Forest View, Illinois, una pequeña villa localizada al suroeste de Chicago. El nuevo cargo lo asumió el pasado martes 22 de agosto, 2023 durante la junta mensual del pueblo.
Laura McGuffey, Secretaria/Tesorera del pueblo fue la encargada de realizar el juramento de rigor al Jefe de la Policía Zárate, mediante una sencilla pero emotiva ceremonia en el salón de juntas con la presencia de varios funcionarios, residentes y familiares del señor Zárate, entre quienes se encontraban sus padres Benjamín y María Zárate.
En una entrevista exclusiva para EL DIA Newspaper, el Jefe de la Policía, Bianel Zárate nos dio a conocer algunos cambios que incrementará de inmediato. Zárate comenzará construyendo una estructura de mando para llenar espacios vacantes para capacitación de instructores para que la mitad del departamento se jubile o se vaya.
Zárate realizará eventos policiales comunitarios para generar confianza con los residentes. “Contrate más oficiales ya que nos faltan varios trabajadores de tiempo completo y parcial”, afirma. Entre otras cosas implantará vigilancia policial en bicicleta para que su equipo de policías sean más visibles para los residentes.
También he comenzado a trabajar con el distrito de parques y las personas mayores para enseñarles todos los trucos que pueden tener para estafarlos. Además hemos comenzado a tratar de asistir a eventos para niños pequeños para compartir con ellos en el parque en el juego de pelota como el Pickle Ball.
Benial Zárate comenzó su carrera como oficial de policía de tiempo parcial en el Departamento de Policía de Berwyn en el año 2004. En Diciembre el año 2008 el Departament de Policía de Forest View me contrato como policía de tiempo completo.
El nuevo Jefe de Policía de Forest View, es de origen Hispano de descendencia Mexicana, no está casado ni tiene niños.

Forest View has a new Police Chief
Forestview, Illinois (NED).– Bianel Zarate, is the new head of the Forest View, Illinois Police Department, a small village located southwest of Chicago. He assumed the new position last Tuesday, August 22, 2023, during the village’s monthly meeting.
Laura McGuffey, Village Clerk/Treasurer was in charge of administering the oath of office to Police Chief Zarate, during a simple but emotional ceremony in the boardroom with the presence of several officials, residents and family members of Mr. Zarate, among whom were his parents Benjamin and Maria Zarate.
In an exclusive interview for EL DIA Newspaper, Police Chief Bianel Zarate revealed some changes that will negin immediately. Zarate will begin building a command structure to fill vacant spaces for instructor training so that half of the department will either retire or leave.
Zarate will hold community policing events to build trust with residents. “Hire more officers as we are short several full- and part-timers,” he says. Among other things he will implement bicycle policing to make his team of police officers more visible to residents.
I have also started working with the park district and seniors to teach them all the tricks they can learn to not be scammed. In addition we have started creating events for our youth to share with them at the park like Pickle Ball.
Benial Zarate began his career as a part-time police officer with the Berwyn Police Department in 2004. In December 2008, the Forest View Police Department hired me as a full-time police officer.
The new Forest View Police Chief is of Hispanic origin of Mexican descent, is not married and has no children.
