What: House City is a 10-part traveling party series hosting events across various Chicago neighborhoods. These events highlight and celebrate the rich 35-year-old history of House music in Chicago—a genre that was created and propagated by Black, Latinx, and other creative youth in the 1980s.

Who: This series is presented by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) as part of the 2021 Year of Chicago Music.
